Many years ago the Japanese company, Yamaha, wanted to make a boat for their engines that was fuel efficient, seaworthy, and built to last through many years of hard use. A boat that could handle a variety of conditions from shallow water flats to the deep blue sea. It is for these reasons that I have chosen what is most commonly known as a Panga boat.
This boat gives me the opportunity to provide you with a wide range of experiences at an affordable cost. Of course, the boat is equipped with the latest in marine electronics and safety equipment, not to mention all the amenities necessary to efficiently fish in comfort and convenience.
The boat is 22 feet long, powered by a 90 H.P. Honda four stroke outboard engine. Its beam (width) is six feet which give it the ability to slice through waves. It is not a fast boat, its' top speed is only 38 MPH, nor is it a heavy boat that pounds its way through heavy seas. Its high bow flare allows for it to point down sea while drifting which ensures comfort, and keeps everyone relatively dry from spray when powering into choppy seas. It is a Jack of all trades, master of none, but performs at an efficiency unmatched by any boat in its class.
If you have been curious about how a Panga fishes, this is your opportunity to experience it on more than just a test ride level. Choose a trip that is most similar to the type of fishing you do and experience it for yourself! If you are planning a fishing trip to the various South American, Central American, and Carribean countries, you might be fishing on a panga. If you are not sure how you would like it, why not try it out here first?

This is the boat! The narrow beam gives the boat the abiltiy to slice through the waves. The super reliable 90 h.p. Honda engine sips fuel which gives me the ability to pass the savings down to you!
*Recently added side railings (not in picture) gives an overall gunnel height of 32" for added safety and comfort!

With no canvas overhead*, and a smaller than average console and leaning post, this boat fishes like a much larger boat. The elevated bow acts like a casting platform, giving you the advantage of height when needed. In this case, these Mahi were real timid and staying just out of site to be targeted accurately. A hop up on the bow and they were in the crosshairs!
*Shade is available at request and is easily erected at a moment's notice.
